Un 29 de Diciembre pero del año 1905 nacía el trombonista SNUB MOSLEY, en 1930 el saxofonista TOMMY RODRIGUEZ, en 1952 el saxofonista tenor JOE LOVANO, en 1958 el baterista / arreglista y compositor GEORGE SCHULLER, en 1960 la cantante FAITH GIBSON, en 1966 el pianista DANILO PEREZ y en 1981 el guitarrista OMAR HADDAD.En tanto un 29 de Diciembre del año 2001 fallecía el pianista RALPH SUTTON y en el 2008 el trompetista FREDDIE HUBBARD.
También un 29 de Diciembre de 1953 el gran maestro del piano ART TATUM grababa "Without A Song", en 1963 el vibrafonista BOBBY HUTCHERSON graba para el sello Blue Note el albúm "The Kicker", en 1964 THE JAZZ COMPOSER´S ORCHESTRA graba "Communication" y en 1979 el saxofonista JOE HENDERSON graba "Relaxin´At Camarillo".
En el recuerdo, el trompetista FREDDIE HUBBARD, uno de los máximos exponentes del Hard-Bop en este video homenajeando a otro gran trompetista de jazz como lo fue Clifford Brown en el tema "I Remenber Clifford" junto al baterista Art Blakey y sus All Stars Jazz Messengers en 1964.
