ANIVERSARIOS DEL JAZZ: 3 de Octubre

En esta fecha nacián: el saxofonista VON FREEMAN (1922), el pianista y promotor GEORGE WEIN (1925), el saxofonista RONNIE LAWS (1950), el trompetista MARK LEWIS (1955), la guitarrista DEBORAH COLEMAN (1956) y el saxofonista español OSCAR JAVIER MURCIA BELTRAN (1976)...En tanto un 3 de Octubre pero del año 1930 el pianista y arreglador FLETCHER HENDERSON grababa con arreglos del saxofonista Benny Carter el tema "Somebody Loves Me", el mismo año el pianista DAVE BRUBECK en compañia de los saxofonistas LEE KONITZ y ANTHONY BRAXTON graba el tema "All The Things You Are" y en 1962 se produce el gran encuentro entre el pianista y director de Kansas City William "Count" Basie y la "voz" Francis Albert Sinatra, grabando juntos para el sello Reprise el albúm "An Historical Music First"...El recuerdo en esta grabación del año 1956 en un Show de TV, SINATRA & BASIE interpretando "I´ve Got You Under My Skin".
